Brain Awareness Week

In case you weren't aware, this week is Brain Awareness Week in Durham, brought to you by Duke's Institute for Brain Sciences. There is a lecture each day that is free and open to the public, at different locations both on campus and in the city.

They are also collaborating with the Museum of Life and Science, as there will be "fun and engaging brain activities" during lunchtime Tues-Thurs.

The week culminates at Duke's Levine Science Research Center on Saturday with an open house from noon-4pm. This free, all ages event includes:

* Laboratory tours
* Research demonstrations
* Back-to-class mini courses
* Art projects for your brain
...and more!
