Tonight is the opening game for the Durham Bulls' 2011 season. This is a great place to go for dinner, as they will be featuring new food menu items, and will celebrate the first day of the season with $1 hot dogs, fries, and popcorn.
After the game, take your party and your tix over to The Pinhook, where you can get a $3 NC draft with your ticket stub. They'll have a solid power pop line-up, including Pittsboro's pop rock group The Breaks at 9pm, and Asheville's indie pop-noir group stephaniesĭd at 10pm.
I was fortunate enough to catch stephaniesĭd at The Broad Street Cafe the last time they were in town, and this band is absolutely enchanting.
