Beer Meetup @ Broad Street

Tonight at Broad Street Cafe is Tri-Beer Meetup. This is an event for beer enthusiasts to meet each other and try new and interesting brews. Tonight Durham's own Triangle Brewing Company will be serving their Rauchbier von Durham:

Rauchbier (smoked beer) has a distinctive smoke flavor imparted by using malted barley dried over an open flame. This is a special beer, unique to NC, that Rick has been working on for a while. It is light in color and body, with a pleasant smokey nose and hints of earth tones in the finish. This beer measures in at 4.4% ABV.

This is a truly unique beer and is worth a try. There will also be live blues music on stage.
