The Weekend Has Landed - July 3rd

*Friday*

Durham Bulls vs. Charlotte Knights - It's a fireworks night at the DBAP, first pitch at 7:05pm.

Live Music @ Broad Street Cafe - Spencer Sholes at 8pm, Jordan Sphinx at 10pm.

Live Music @ Pinhook - Gray Young at 10pm, Birds and Arrows at 11pm, Tin Star at midnight.

*Saturday*

Children's Independence Day Parade @ Durham Central Park - Patriotic music, helium balloons, fire engine from Station No. 1, and police escort. The Scrap Exchange will have decorations for bicycles, wagons and scooters. Decorating bikes begins at 10am and the parade starts at 10:45am. Free water and frozen juice pops will be served at 11am.

Festival for the Eno, Day 2 - The Festival for the Eno is an annual celebration of crafts, music, and the environment. The second day musical line-up includes:

Durham Independence Day Celebration - Here's the schedule for Durham's official celebration:
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Music on the Lawn Concert at American Tobacco, Featuring John Brown & The Groove Shop Band
6:05 p.m. USA Baseball game (tickets required, visit www.durhambulls.com to purchase tickets). Gates open at 5:05 p.m.
7:30 p.m.* Gates to DBAP open for free admission (end of 7th inning)
9 p.m.* Remarks from elected officials, Light Up Durham "It’s Cool To Care" Awards Presentation, National Anthem and FIREWORKS!
* All times are tentative and are dependent on the actual end time of The USA Baseball game.
The Young Professional Experience 4th of July Party @ Mount Fuji - From 10pm - 2am, TYPE will be hosting a party at Brightleaf's sushi spot.
