The Weekend Has Landed - September 11th

*Friday*

Summer Concert Series @ Brightleaf - Crush takes the stage at 7pm.

Edward Albee’s "At Home at the Zoo" @ Common Ground - It's opening night for the Triangle premier of Edward Albee's "At Home at the Zoo." Presented by Ghost & Spice Productions, they describe it as:
Darkly comic, fascinating, gut wrenching. This riveting full-length play pairs Edward Albee’s landmark 1958 play, The Zoo Story, with its recently penned prequel, Homelife. At Home at the Zoo examines a deliciously revealing and nuanced relationship between a husband and wife, then catapults the husband into a life-changing encounter with a desperate outcast. It demonstrates why Edward Albee continues to be one of our greatest living dramatists.
They are also encouraging that you make it dinner and a show, as they have worked out a deal with blu Seafood & Bar where if you mention the show, you get 10% off your meal. Then if you mention the dinner, you get $2 off the ticket price. "At Home at the Zoo" runs from September 11-20, with most shows starting at 8pm.
